An entire essay could be written on the history of Max Factor, but I am not going to do it right now. Instead I would just like to share with you a piece of makeup history that hasn’t really changed much over the last 60 years. (News Flash: After writing this entry, I see in my latest issue of Make-up Artist Magazine, that an entire book has been written about Max Factor and is available from www.arcadepub.com. I’m adding it to my X-mas list.)
Max Factor introduced Pan-Stick foundation in 1948 and the only thing that has changed much since is its packaging. Of course the ingredients have been altered slightly, but the Makeup for Makeup Artists is still going strong and still doing an amazing job at a good price.

I love Panstick. It’s frustrating that Maxfactor is getting harder to find. It isn’t carried at Walgreen’s or Target. At least not in my area.=-( I can only buy it at Walmart.
