Two-Toned Vintage Haircolor – Evolving Style

The extreme contrast of two-toned hair is very popular right now, but not a new concept in hairstyling trends. These images are from the 40’s, 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s showing two-tones. They are great examples of using contrast to add dimension and shape to a style. None of these styles would have as strong geometry without the color treatment.
