You wouldn’t need short hair to do this style, but you would need layers on top. The roller set can be done with velcro or magnetic rollers as a wet-set or use a good thermal setting spray with hot rollers. If you do have long hair with layers, after you have done the curl bit, put the long hair at the nape of the neck back in a bun or a ponytail to fake the short hair part. This style will take lots of teasing, sculpting, and spraying to get the control in the flip, but oh so worth it…
