Bob hairstyles of the 1960s

1960s bob hairstyle

I just came across these hairstyles in my folders and wanted to share. I really like slick bobs and it is amazing that something so simple can go well with a 1920s look or a 1960s look.

  1. I wear a longish bob because it really is best with my baby fine straight hair. For 1950s styles I curl it up a bit and for 1930s styles I curl it and add in little hair bows on the sides. 40s styles are a bit more challenging for shorter hair and the easiest is to add a fall in the back and sweep the side hair around a couple of rats on the sides and pin them into victory rolls. I wsould definitely welcome other suggestions.
