Oxblood, which is a very deep burgundy color, is a great 1950s makeup idea for Fall.
I just got home from an end of the season camping trip with my LUPEC ladies at the fabulous Starlight Classic Campground and it is raining outside and the first tree in my new front yard has started to turn yellow. I am in a very Fall mood and can’t wait to see the stages my new yard changes into as the next couple of months go by.
And I always start dreaming about what I am going to wear for Fall when this change happens. I am trying to loose a few pounds, so I am not going shopping just yet, but something I can do right away is buy some new makeup for the season. I think I am going to go with Oxblood lipstick and nail polish this Fall…

I am in a fall mood, too. Though the last days have been quite warm, there is already mist in the morning, only the fallen leaves are missing, but I am compensating with a very pumpkin- and cabbage-loaded cuisine.
The colour looks great. Without knowing what it was called (I would have described it as burgundy, but I knew that didn’t really fit), I matched my latest sewn dress to it, oxblood buttons to go with my my beloved pumps. Though I have to admit I had no matching lipstick and mixed red with brown one, but the result was quite convincing, though maybe not enough to keep me from buying a new one^^

I am on the hunt for a good oxblood lipstick. I’ll take any excuse I can to buy new lipstick.

I am not in fall mood yet, because it’s sill too hot here. But I am so in hurry to wear some tweed and wool suits!
I love the colour of this lipstick!
